What are some best practices for testing React components?

React has become a popular framework for building user interfaces due to its efficient rendering and reusable component structure. The quality of React components is ensured by testing, just like any software development process. We will explore some of the most effective techniques for testing React components to assist developers in creating dependable and error-free applications.
Unit Testing: React component testing begins with unit testing. It involves testing each component in isolation without any external dependencies. Unit tests ensure that each piece functions as expected and help catch any errors in isolation. Developers can use popular testing libraries like Jest or Enzyme for unit testing.
Jest is a JavaScript testing framework with a simple and easy-to-use API for testing React components. It also offers features like snapshot testing to check for changes in the rendered part. On the other hand, Enzyme is a JavaScript testing utility for React that simplifies the testing of React components by providing an intuitive API for traversing and manipulating React components' output.
Integration Testing: Integration testing focuses on verifying the smooth collaboration and interaction among various components to ensure their cohesive functionality. It is crucial in React applications as components often rely on each other for data exchange. Tools such as Cypress offer a powerful API for crafting end-to-end tests, enabling the execution of integration testing.
Mocking Dependencies: React components rely on external dependencies like APIs or databases for data retrieval. In such cases, it is helpful to mock these dependencies during testing. Mocking allows developers to simulate different scenarios and data responses, making testing components' behaviour in different methods easier. For example, a mock API response can help test edge cases like network errors or empty data responses.
Test Coverage: Test coverage is an essential metric to determine the effectiveness and completeness of the testing process. It provides visibility into which tests cover parts of the codebase and which do not. A good test coverage ensures that all critical paths in the code are tested, reducing the chances of undiscovered bugs.
Use React Testing Library: A simple and effective way to test React components is provided by React Testing Library, an open-source testing library. It encourages testing features in a way that reflects how users interact with the application. This approach leads to more robust and meaningful tests that mimic how users experience the application.
Use Test-Driven Development (TDD): Test-driven development is a software development methodology where tests are crafted before writing the actual code. This approach ensures the code is inherently testable, providing extensive test coverage for all features and edge cases. Additionally, TDD fosters the development of modular, maintainable, and reusable code.
Use Continuous Integration (CI): Continuous Integration (CI) is like a system that automatically checks if new code fits well with the existing code. This helps ensure everything works smoothly, and it catches them early if there are any problems. It's an important part of agile development because it helps find and fix issues quickly.
In conclusion, testing React components is essential for crafting high-quality applications, and at Elightwalk, we boast a dedicated team of React.js developers proficient in implementing these best practices. Following these guidelines ensures our applications are thoroughly tested, producing more robust and reliable software.
This commitment to testing identifies and resolves bugs and enhances our developers' confidence, culminating in an unparalleled user experience. With the rising popularity of React, our investment in meticulous testing reflects our dedication to delivering top-tier applications to our users.

[Arcane preference] reacting to their s/o wearing parfum

As usual, if you'd like to read more of my work, I have an ongoing Arcane fanfiction, Everytime It Rains (based on the alternative timeline). Click here! to read it. As for this headcanon, I had run out of my perfume stash and just restocked with Scandal, Black Opium, Honey Aoud, and Bianco Latte (all sweet with vanilla notes). So, this headcanon is my way of channeling the euphoria of my perfume obsession.
socials: | INPRNT | | Tip Jar | | X | | BlueSky | | Ao3 |
Jayce:
Heâs not overly sensitive to perfumes. If you spray it while in the same room as him, he doesnât feel the need to leave because he canât breathe.
For this very reason, it always takes him a little whileânot to notice it, but to figure out where itâs coming from.
The sweeter the scent, the more likely his first assumption is that youâve bought or baked something sweet while he wasnât around.
When you laugh and tell him there are no sweets and itâs your new perfume, heâs a little embarrassed but in a sweet, endearing way.
Heâll hug you, press his nose into the crook of your neck, and take in as much of the scent as he can to memorize it.
He doesnât have issues with any scent. Sweeter ones make him sniff you more often because they make his mouth water, while spicier, âeveningâ notes are something he enjoys when youâre resting against him.Ăš
Viktor:
Heâs very sensitive to perfumes; freshly sprayed scents give him headaches and make him feel short of breath.
This is probably a lingering effect from Zaunâhis body reacts viscerally the moment the air isnât clean and well-oxygenated.
That doesnât mean he doesnât appreciate it. You just need to let the alcohol component fade a bit before getting close to him, or at least spray it in another room.
Heâs a bit more reserved than others; heâll sniff it from your wrist while holding it lightly.
âMh⌠yes, Iâve always dreamed of being in a relationship with a pastry shop.â
âYou mean a pastry chef.â
âNo, I know what I said.â
Ekko:
This man is a truffle dog; he notices the moment you arrive with a different scent.
His talent is playing it cool, becoming flirtier, and acting like a caricature of a gentleman trying to court you.
He prefers spicier scents to sweeter ones. If you wear something with vanilla notes, heâll tease you, saying you smell like âthe cake served by a Piltieâs servants,â but he doesnât actually dislike it.
If a mission is particularly bad or he has a bad feeling about the day, heâll ask you to spray some of your perfume on a handkerchief he keeps in his pocket, so he can hold on to your scent and feel closer to you.
Vander:
You could spray it directly into his nose, and he couldnât care less. With the bar, heâs used to strong smells from cleaning products, spirits, and late-night disasters.
The alcohol in perfumes doesnât bother him.
The downside is that he doesnât notice it right awayâhe just doesnât pay attention to it.
He generally tries to give you his full attention, but these little details sometimes slip past him. When you point it out, heâll immediately try to make up for it if he remembers noticing something different in the air that day.
Heâll sniff it from your neck, slowly moving downward, justifying it as âtrying to see how it blends with your natural scent.â
Silco (old man):
He prefers bold perfumes with character, like amber or woody scents, and finds excessively sweet ones rather childish.
He wonât hesitate to share this opinion in front of you.
Heâs the kind of man who enjoys tobacco, wears Acqua di Giò, drinks warm whiskeyâin short, he favors bitter and spicy notes.
But that wonât stop him from quickly growing accustomed to the scent he initially disliked so much, the one that makes you recognizable even as you ascend the stairs.
Heâll look for something similar or with complementary notes to gift you himself, though heâll never admit that heâs come to appreciate it.
Silco (young man):
Itâs rare for there to be an occasion to wear perfume, which is why the same evening you show up at the bar wearing it, he notices immediately.
He doesnât have a particular preference for perfumes. But his love language is sarcasm, so regardless, heâll make an ironic (but not mean) comment before telling you it suits you.
When youâre away, heâll look for a piece of your clothing with the strongest scent to sleep with so he can feel close to you. When heâs the one far away, heâll ask you to give him something, anything, with a bit of your scent on it.
He wonât sniff you in publicâonly when youâre alone, in private.
Jinx:
She loves sweet scents and hates bitter or overly amber ones.
âYou smell like a pastry.â
The sweeter the perfume, the more likely youâll catch her sniffing you or your things, just a moment before she clutches her stomach, whining about craving chocolate, caramel, or something sweet.
Sheâll ask for a spritz of your perfume too, so she can smell as if âshe just walked out of a bakery.â too
She prefers when you spray it in her hideout or in one of her rooms, so it clings to things and improves the overall smell.
Vi:
She doesnât notice it right away because itâs not the sort of thing she pays attention to.
On one hand, she doesnât love perfumes or anything that covers up natural scents. She prefers your smellâyour skinâs scentâthe one that drives her wild.
On the other hand, perfume is a fancy thing that hasnât been much of a reality in her life, except for the cologne Vander used to wear.
Which was suffocating because he always overdid it.
She prefers spicier scents over sweet ones but doesnât dislike anything.
Sheâll kiss your hand and offer her arm, mimicking a fancy Piltover couple, babbling nonsense about non-existent upcoming galas and the finest shoe polish brands.
Caitlyn:
âHow does she react?â When? When sheâs accompanying you to buy it?
If youâre torn between more than one perfume, sheâll buy you the other without letting you know.
She notices immediately when you wear it, smiles at you, lifts your face, and kisses you with the unspoken understanding that this small indulgence is your personal little secret.
Those days tend to heat up quickly, often ending on the bed before you even realize it.
For the most important evenings, sheâll suggest which one you should wear.
Mel:
She hates overly sweet perfumes, finding them suffocating and cloying.
She doesnât overdo her own perfume either, spraying twice into the air and walking through the mist so itâs not too strong or unnatural.
She prefers it once itâs already faded, so she can still breathe when she kisses you.
Ultimately, sheâll grow accustomed to whatever you wear. Sure, sheâd prefer a citrusy or more floral scent, but as long as itâs on you, anything is acceptable.
Sevika:
She prefers none at all. She likes the natural scent of skin, whether itâs faint or strong.
She finds perfumes draw too much attention.
Sheâd never tell you this outright, though. However, if your perfume is too sweet, sheâll tease you, saying she didnât realize she was dating a brioche. If itâs too strong and bitter, sheâll joke that youâre giving her PTSD and making her feel like sheâs at work.
She doesnât mind when you wear it on nights out together, because if someone notices the scent and turns around, theyâll see youâre with her.

Some Advice for Beginner Witches/Advice I Wish I Got
I'm by no means an expert in anything magical or an expert witch, this is mostly just advice/tips that I wish I had had when I was first starting my practice OR advice that I think a lot of beginners could benefit from. Resources will also be linked at the end.
This is a rather long post so everything else is under the cut, but I've divided everything into general advice, spiritual practice advice, and community-oriented advice. Links to applicable sources are under Miscellanea.
General Advice/Things to Keep in Mind
Consider the mundane stuff first! Use naturally-sourced/biodegradable and ecologically safe offerings/magic components when working outside or if you're going to return something to the earth (ex. salt will kill plants/damage soil so don't do a salt circle- use crushed eggshells instead and don't bury anything non-biodegradable/naturally sourced), practice good fire safety (ffs every witchy person I've run across has at least 1 'fire incident'), make sure not to expose crystals to things they'll react negatively to (ex. pyrite in water will form sulfuric acid), etcetera etcetera.
You don't need to get all new specialty equipment or a ton of things to start your spiritual practice. You may want to but you by no means do you have to. A lot of everyday items that you may already have can perform magical uses, so just use the things you have until you run into specific items you may want to add to your practice (ie you might make an alter out of things you already have and then switch out elements with new preferred items as you get them). Honestly things might work better if you use older/mundane items you have a close connection to.
Similarly, you don't need to go and get the most expensive things for your craft either. If you're wanting to splurge on anything, splurge on safety supplies (fire safety supplies or anything that will make your practice more safe practically are good places to start) and workhorse items that you will be able to use frequently long-term. This doesn't have to be a major strain on your budget and shouldn't be a financial burden to you.
Magical/Spiritual practitioners DO NOT all believe the same things. Spiritual practices/Spirituality is more of an umbrella category that encompasses many different practices (or practitioner communities) rather than a specific belief system/community and most practitioners ascribe to schools of practice or systems of belief and combine those systems with their own unverified personal gnosis (typically called UPG). Overlaps in beliefs or practices happen fairly regularly, but will be different for different practices.
You can learn something from most practitioners, even if they come from a different belief system or practice (disclaimer: do not take from/try to practice closed practices/religions, I am not telling you to do that). By this I mean that other practitioners will probably have different bases of knowledge and perspectives that may be of help to you even if they come from a different type of practice. Personally, if I'm struggling with understanding a specific concept or I'm having issues linking something up within the rest of my practice, hearing someone else's viewpoint or seeing how they link/incorporate different aspects of their practice can be a catalyst for working through those issues
Take care of yourself. Look into spiritual psychosis and what to look out for, and and try to not fall down the rabbit hole of convert fervor. Most people are not expecting you to have your entire practice nailed down within the first week (tbh your practice will probably change and evolve throughout your life), so take your time and go at a pace that's sustainable for you. You'll probably even have rest/break periods of low/zero engagement in your practice, and if that happens that's fine too!
Magic Advice & Spiritual Practice Tips
I would recommend starting where you are most interested or start working with what you're most inclined towards. For example, don't start with candle magic if you're more interested in plant magic just because it's more recommended for beginners. You're more likely to be able to genuinely engage with and enjoy your practice if you have a connection with what you're doing. Personally I started with astrology and crystals, and then got into divination work with pendulums and tarot before expanding into everything else I do because that was the path my interests aligned with. Your path is probably going to be different, and that's great!
However, if you're looking for easy places to start, I do have recommendations based on how easy they are to access and incorporate into your everyday life. Kitchen witchcraft is pretty easy to start with assuming you already cook (or would like to learn how) and can become very intuitive once you have a good grasp on cooking and magic. Small bits of glamour magic or sigil work can also be easy to do since you're already bathing/clothing yourself (charming clothing and toiletries is fairly easy and beginner friendly). Cartomancy can also be a solid way to go, since a cheap or DIY'd tarot deck or a playing card deck can be fairly accessible for most people. Pendulums, runes, and bone throwing kits/magpie oracles can also be DIY'd easily or bought depending on your preferences.
Incorporate the knowledge and skills you already have! A lot of practical skills you may already have can be of practical application to your practice. I've also found that my magical understanding of concepts is deepened when I understand how things work on a mundane level.
Going along with that last point, I think skill building/skill use can have devotional applications (if devotional actions are part of your practice). Ex. if you worship a deity that is associated with craft or a particular skill, you can absolutely dedicate your pursuit of knowledge in that skill or dedicate a project to a deity/spirit of your choice. Alternatively, dedicate that skill building to yourself or your practice (for example, dedicate the creation of a homemade alter cloth to an alter or towards the growth of your craft/practice)
I have found that there's a lot of advice regarding cursing and doing magic when your experiencing heightened emotions. Personally, I'm curse neutral I don't really do them (I've just never felt the drive to) but I have no issue with them. Do as you will, but be prepared to deal with whatever consequences may arise (tbh this is good general advice for your practice). Regarding doing a working when you're in a heightened emotional state, I would just say in my experience that doing magic in that state can lead to impulsive actions or not thinking something through. Do whatever you're going to do, but maybe calm down or proceed with caution for best results is all I'm saying.
Sometimes the best thing to happen with a working is for it to fail. Maybe you were working with something you shouldn't (like a closed practice that wouldn't pertain to you), or it's something you wouldn't be able to handle, or maybe it's something that would end up being regrettable if it actually worked. There are a lot of reasons why something not working can be for the best, but that is sometimes the best outcome for a working (even if you don't realize it in the moment).
Look for ways to evolve your practice and think outside of the box! Experiment with new applications of different working (like glamour magic to be forgettable/unnoticeable instead of noteworthy), involve new components if they make sense (ex: enchant some ink if the working has a written component), or make your own correspondences based on how things work for you
I have found that location can effect a working quite a bit (and effect you if it backfires). One of the more helpful pieces of advice I've gotten is if you're planning on doing a bainful working/cursework/negative working, don't do that where you live/exist regularly (like your job). Like, if you're wishing bad luck towards someone you don't want to have it backside on you where you sleep and live (working off property at least or at a crossroads world be ideal in this case). Similarly if one was to do a beneficial spell regarding sleep, do that at your home in your bedroom.
This also applies to community advice but: if you come across someone else's working, I would advise that you not tamper with it unless you have to. Beyond not knowing what it's for/affecting, the working may have hazardous components you aren't aware of (sharp bits, mold, toxic/allergic reaction causing substances, etc)
Community Advice & Relationship Building
Like any group of people, magic/spiritual communities can have bad/malicious actors within them, typically in the form of grifters, different types of alt-righters, and cults. I would recommend learning to spot and avoid alt-righters and nazis quickly as the alt-right loves magic & occult spaces and they will try to recruit or radicalize you if they get the opportunity. Familiarizing yourself with ways to spot grifters, red flags for cults, and common symbols/red flags of by the alt-right in magic/ occult spaces is important (learn quick and early and then stay up-to-date on that information for the safety of yourself/others).
You can make your practice as private or collaborative as you'd like, but having friends or community connections is nice! Being friendly and polite will generally go a long way to meet people and see if you would want to try to form connections within different practitioner communities online and offline.
In person locations/events might be a good but unreliable venues for meeting local practitioners, getting supplies, and learning new skills for your practice. Your local shops (depending on availability in your area) will probably have a mix of customers, but there's a decent chance there are regulars that you can meet and maybe form relationships with as well. Metaphysical shops, independent groups, and even areas/towns will also sometimes put on events/meet-and-greets/workshops that can be a fun way to connect with practitioners in your area.
Being friendly and respectful will get you pretty far with creating relationships in different magical spaces/communities. Reaching out to other people (online or irl) can be a good way to network and learn new things
Miscellanea
The Witch of Wonderlust's offering cardigan video here. She also has a plethora of educational videos on her youtube channel
Frankie/ChaoticWitchAunt on youtube also has done good educational content. They primarily do Italian-American folk magic and tarot and I've learned quite a bit from them
@breelandwalker and her show Hex Positive are also wonderful resources.
@friend-crow and @windvexer are also two great witchcraft bloggers
thetarotguide.com has some great guides for the Rider-Waite-Smith tarot cards, the card guides are quite detailed and well written. There is also a small but not insubstantial community of tarot/oracle reviewers on YT that is a nice resource if you are wanting to get a new deck
I've also found the work of Jason Miller to be quite informative. Miller had published multiple books and what I've read of his work had been quite enlightening.
Not to plug my own stuff, but my #tarot musings tag, my witchy recipes, a workshopping correspondences post, charm necklace post, and star jar workings might be some fun and easy places to experiment. I also quite liked my
For more experienced people, please add any advice you'd want beginners to know! For beginners, I hope this helps a bit! Thanks for readingđ

how easy or hard is it to make the sinners finish? also are you fine with yandere stuff? I want to ask before requesting. Also if your requests arenât open then feel free to ignore.
Oh my! I made a whole tier list with a friend^^ just need to pull it up. Over half the credit goes to the skinny dipping ask anon, haiii^^ also Iâm all good with yandere stuff. I just might have difficulty with certain characters (base ID for Greg to name one, that might not be very long if Iâm asked to write something about him; Iâll still write about him, but thereâs not a lot to work with for the yandere theme in my eyes) but I will absolutely write it^^ also you will get bonus characters. Because itâs fun^^
TW: 18+, UNEDITED
Not finishing (sorry!):
Faust - sorry but I donât think she ever came during sex. You can use toys or she can do the job herself and that works, but thatâs it honestly. Itâs not that youâre doing something wrong, sheâs still choosing to spend time with you in that way, but I just think she would finish from touching herself. After all Faust knows Faust the best
Takes a long while:
Ryoshu - itâs not hard to make her finish but if you rush it, she wonât react well. Itâs a whole process, getting to that first orgazm. She likes playing around before it, holding it off until sheâs satisfied with the act. Like, she wonât ignore you in favour of her pleasure, she wants the both of you to get the most out of this. Which means neither of you is finishing quick, sorry
Sonya - also not that easy. Heâs a chill guy, he doesnât seem like he would mind. He likes you and it was a decent time either way, so itâs not a big issue if he didnât come. I just feel like, despite his easygoing demeanour, if anything from the book carries over to the game, he miiight have a hard time letting himself be vulnerable during sexual encounters. Participates still, but itâs not a carefree ordeal and it makes orgasming harder. Can use his hand just fine though and doesnât consider it a wasted night
Demian - kinda hard. Like, I just feel like it would be hard for him to reach a release, but heâd be damned if he still didnât try. Heâs fairly confident and knows himself well, so he has no problem guiding you a little so both of you can orgasm. With his tips itâs not really hard. Side note, but I feel like the experience youâd get is worth it, come on, in the book heâs such an agent of chaos itâs iconic. Yeah heâs calm. But like, if I asked that man to tie my shoes he could as well run off with my shoelaces to prove some point he made earlier hhh
Last above average:
Verg - kinda hard? Like, itâs easier than with the ones above, but you will have to put some effort into pleasing him. Heâs guarded and keeps most at an armâs length so to have a genuine sexual encounter with you, he needs to trust and know you a bit. I donât think he would be a 10/10 at communicating so you also wouldnât have a lot to go off of. It changes with time, the communication part, but he still takes a bit to finish
Ishmael - she takes some time as well. I think sheâs pretty experienced and has had many amazing as well as mediocre encounters so given that range, donât expect to just waltz into her room and make her scream your name upon your touch. Good thing is, she has a good idea about what works, just take her suggestions and youâll get there (sheâll do to ;3). Other component could be the fact that she often doesnât feel comfortable letting her guard down and not being in control. So, especially if youâre more dominant, I could see some issues stemming from that early on, because as open as she would be to give things a try, if youâre a more dominant person, it could be difficult for her to work with. Not your fault, just give her some time. In bed and outside of it
Hong Lu - I canât explain it much, I just think itâs not super easy as well. Again, you wonât have him panting and moaning just from doing the bare minimum, but let our curious man explore, make it worth a while, and heâll reach an orgasm at his pace
Kromer - takes a bit too. Sheâs pretty horny with a high sex drive but she likes to have her time with you. Likes that you have you to try a bit before sheâll come too
Standard timing đđ:
Dante - i feel like they have a pretty average timing. Perhaps it would be faster but they overthink a bit and itâs all a little bit ânewâ. They donât even fully know (or well, remember) what they like so that also plays a role. Again, itâs easier than with the characters above but they donât come super fast
Yi Sang - also pretty much within what you would expect, you have to get him a bit worked up, itâs not as long of a process as it is with some other sinners, but definitely enough for you two to get a bit creative with the foreplay and such
Meursault - I think we just figured getting him placed in the middle of the tier is just funny considering his demeanour. That man is the standard, the average, the perfect representation of the mean. Sex with him definitely isnât vanilla, I just think he finishes at a very predictable timing, never having you too worked up but also not rushing it
Hopkins - adding him as a silly bonus, I just think itâs funny he stuck in my brain. He also takes a pretty expected amount of time, he has to have some solid foreplay but itâs not like, really hard for you to get him to finish. Just let him have his fun first
Fairly easy:
Don - if you know where her âweaknessesâ lay (and itâs not a difficult thing, sheâs pretty obvious, I think. Again, Iâm keeping in mind how easily she gave herself away when she was questioned about her feelings on being beaten up in CIII, that woman was stuttering like crazy. So like, just go for whatever flusters her and thatâs your cue as to what you should do during sex) itâs a very short road from there to having her orgasm. Being easily excitable seems to seep into that part of her life as well :3
Rodya - she knows herself well and is used to putting herself first (since life taught her that if you donât, nobody else might. Not so say she isnât a generous person when she can, but like, it is often something she does for attention or praise in general, I think sex is a bit of a different case) so her objective is to have a good time. It might change as you two grow closer, but for the main part she just uses her own knowledge in what gets her off and works from there. Not saying you donât have to put any work in on your part, but she will make it very easy. If she wants to have sex with you, at least before you two get closer, itâs so that she can have a release, so that will be her main priority. Sheâll be nice to you sure, she knows how to be sweet and charming, even when thereâs sweat rolling down her face and her back is arching while she adjusts your hands to grip her just right. But before sheâs ready to be vulnerable, the sex is more so to fulfil her needs (coming, feeling important, so on) than to grow closer to you
Outis - my funny explanation is âfast but only if youâre Danteâ but my actual reasoning for saying that she would be rather quick to finish is that I think itâs been so long and sheâs so pent up that it just makes sense. Like, sheâs not about to ask for sex from just anyone, she ignores that need too much. So when she finally has sex with you, oh, she clearly means it and has been wanting to do so for a very long time. All in all, sheâs on the brink anyways so getting her off is a very easy task
Gregor - that man is starved and kind of easily⌠well affected by your actions, letâs say. He has no real experience with being desired by someone so you donât have to try much to get him worked up. Your honest advances and the way you treat him oftentimes leave him exasperated (he canât believe over the half of things youâre saying, especially given that he would probably make you aware how his modifications will affect any intimate relationship you might want to have with him), but heâd be lying if he said that whatever you were doing wasnât working. Like, heâs not surprised heâs into it, he just canât believe that you would want to make such advances towards him in the first place. Honestly if it wasnât for his self deprecation and fear of hurting you, heâd be on the bottom tier. But those dark thoughts accompany him even when heâs being intimate (or, well, especially then) so heâs still only somewhat below average. He probably blames it on his stamina (which also could be a factor, heâs not as senile as he makes himself out to be but he certainly does struggle keeping up in bed) and probably mumbles something about being âtoo old for thisâ and how âyouâre going to end him if you keep doing things like thisâ (his very roundabout way of saying that you affect him greatly). So, with all that in mind, he doesnât last very long. The only thing keeping him from coming undone upon your touch is concern for your safety should his body act up because of the strong emotions you cause him to feel
Gotta go fast (sorry):
Heathcliff - not sorry about putting him in this category, only sorry for the joke. I mean, that man is pent up, worked up and so, so oblivious to his own feelings that you wonât be having any troubles with making him come. I mean, for the past few years he dedicated himself to the thought of what could (or in this case - couldnât) be and his ability to reflect and own up to the fact that youâre making him feel a very specific kind of way is hindered as a result. That man could get a raging boner every time you touch him and he still would hold off on reflecting on his feelings. So when heâs finally in a position to have sex with you, you will have him all worked up in record time. Heaving, panting with drops of sweat rolling down his forehead. He desires you greatly, even if he has a hard (hihi) time admitting that (well, that would mean that his whole⌠thing was a waste of time and also would call into question if he was ever wanted by the person heâs been chasing this whole time, I mean, he couldnât imagine having her act towards him in the same way you do. Which⌠well, he doesnât love the thought). That and his lack of experience with all things sexual leads him to release around the time youâre trying to get started. He tries to last longer and he wonât leave you hanging if he doesnât. Well⌠I can certainly tell you that he wonât. But heâs going to try anyways. Just donât tease him about it, that might actually work in the opposite way. Or do tease him, if thatâs what youâre into ;3
Sinclair - if you two getting heated, youâre already halfway done with making him come. He gets horny easily and fast, but usually (always, prior to meeting you probably) his hand has to do. And in the book he is quite filled with thoughts of pretty sexual nature (that are quite a cause of his shame). But insecurity and guilt play a part here too, making him believe that he doesnât really deserve to experience nice things like that. So when youâre so close to him, something he fantasizes about quite often, itâs making him overwhelmed in the best, most alien way. All the thoughts that could hold him back are gone and instead he is overcome with lust. Which then leads to a very fast release. Just like Heath, I totally see him worked up, heaving and absolutely coming undone. Buuut with the way he is, I donât think itâs just him being all shy and cumming cutely just to lay down and stutter out a âthank youâ. That lad is filled with so much anger issues and unprocessed, strong emotions that what you are more likely to get is an extremely horny, awkward, rough encounter and after you blink heâs done and in the process of folding under the weight of post nut clarity (saying this lovingly, not to be biased as the author of this, but this is absolutely a âwouldâ for me. I just donât think heâs what you would consider⌠conventionally âgoodâ. Which is subjective, even if there is a âpopular versionâ of what good sex should look like)
#for that Hindley anon:#he was placed in the âfairly easyâ category#as to my reasoning itâs that I think to be completely wanted and desired would be a turn on big enough to make him release fast#he would say he lasts#thatâs a lie#buuut#if heâs as drunk as he is in the book I think that slows him down enough not to be in the last category#I mean yk at a certain point you get a bit too dizzy and deconcentrated to really do things right on the first try#plus he probably likes foreplay enough to drag it out a little#absolutely shit bed talk from that guy [twirling my hair as I type this]#I might elaborate if asked. Blind Hydra au
How did Electra and the components react when they met Hydra and what are they're relationship like with him?
Hi! Thank you so much for asking.
When Electra and the components first appeared during the race they didnât really pay attention to hydra. They had more important things to do.
It was only during the fourth race that wrench and Electra got tipped off that something was wrong with hydra. Electra from slicks reaction to rusty uncoupling from him and wrench from watching the live recording.
After the race was over and pearl was found wrench went up to hydra and kinda just, grabbed his face to get a closer look. The following conversation went something like this
âYour blind,â
âYesâ
âYouâve been blind this whole time?â
âAlso yes,â
And for a bit after that hydra had various components kinda just, watching or tailing him through the yard. Nothing malicious, The components havenât really interacted with disabled trains before, and this led them to kinda treat hydra like an animal at the zoo, they would look at him and wonder what heâd do next.
Wrench approached him several times to tinker with him. She really wanted to know more about how he worked and if she could fix his blindness. She would also do research to what kind of tanker he was so she could help him.
Killerwatt, after getting advice from trains that if heâs gonna stay in the yard, he should start helping people other than Electra. tries to act as hydras guide and make sure he doesnât hurt himself (While also turning into a bit of a mother hen in the process). It took multiple times of hydra and various other trains reassuring KW that heâs fine and he doesnât need help for KW to finally back off a little.
Joule was the one who keeps poking hydra at random times. She is the one who treats him like a zoo animal the most. Sheâll wave her hand in front of his face to see if he can sense it. Spoiler alert he can.
Volta is probably the one to actually treat hydra like a human. Well at least more than the others. He kinda just watches hydra. He doesnât do anything like joule or try to help him like KW. He just kinda stares.
Electra did the same thing as wrench, grabbing hydras face to get a good look at him. After that Electra questioned how he was racing when he was blind and hydra just responded âidk man I just do,â. Electra probably doesnât pay attention to hydra the most, they have much more important business to attend to.
Thank you for the ask!

How to deal with Imposter Syndrome as a Writer:
Blog Intro ToV Official Synopsis Buy my book Join the ToV Community! Read ToV Free
Learn to appreciate your own work:
You will never know how to accept a compliment from someone else if you cannot see the merits in your own work. You have to learn to love your work yourself first, independent from everyone elseâs opinion, before you try to garner approval from them. So how do you go about this? Reread your work and try to find your favourite parts: What is a line you really enjoyed writing? DId you enjoy reading it just as much as you intended for the reader to enjoy it? Did any other lines catch your eye that, during the writing process, you didnât even realize were so profound or impactful? What about the characters? Whose your favourite? Who makes you laugh the most? Who would you most likely be friends with? Whose very presence in a scene makes you want to commit a felony? By finding the components of your writing that evoke an emotional response from you, you allow yourself to be emotionally impactedâ and by extension (hopefully) emotionally attachedâ to your work. Find the gems in your writing that make your book the favourite on your future shelf. Art and Moodboards! Create art (doodles, sketches, paintings) for your ocs, certain scenes in your books, settings, landscapes, aesthetics, outfits, or all of the above! Moodboards using Pinterest and Shuffle also help if you donât want to draw, or commissions from artists. Lowkey, Iâd be down to open commissions for oc artwork in the writeblr community, but idk iâm just throwing stuff out there. The point is, plenty of artists and writers offer their services to draw, or you can take up the skill yourself and give it a shot! The point of this is to get yourself excited for your writing. Why? That brings me to my next point. Treat your book like itâs already published with an established fandom, and youâre its biggest fan? What kind of fan behaviour are you engaging in? Headcanons? Incorrect quotes? Character edits? Song designation to certain scenes or ocs? Fanfics of fluff scenes? Guess what, chief? Youâre the author. Not only do you get to do all that stuff, but it gets to be canon if you want it to be. Or, you can be like me and gatekeep an entire wiki page in your Notion/the drafts for no one to see unless they beg for it. Itâs your perogative. But be your biggest fan until someone else comes along, recognizes your passion, and challenges you for that title.
Share your work, and your reactions to your work:
Everything we just did in tip one, I want you to go ahead and share it on your writeblr. Let the community see how much you care about this project of yours. The parts that make you cry; the parts that wrench your heart out,; the parts that were so cinematically aesthetic, you just HAD to draw it. Let the community see not only the fruits of your labour, but the ones you found sweet enough to call nectar. Let them feast on that ambrosia and join the fandom.
Accept feedback graciously:
Itâs never easy getting criticism on your work. Whether its positive or negative feedback, the most important thing to do is not react to it defensively. Instead, thank the person who took time out of their day to try and help you fine-tune your craft by giving you tips to improve it. Then, reflect on the feedback and how it aligns or misaligns with your vision. Is this feedback derailing the intentions you have as a creator? If so, how do you try to incorporate the advice so that you are able to stay true to your vision and represent it in a way that allows readers to appreciate it the same way you do.
The most important part of receiving feedback is being open to it. If you close yourself off to changing your work or othersâ opinions, you are limiting your potential for growth. Assume the best of intentions from people who comment on your work, and take it with a grain of salt when applying it to your project. Ultimately, you know your project best, but the community will try to help you enhance your work to make it better. The best thing you can do for the trajectory of your writing career is take what they sayâ not to heart, but to the mind for further reflection.
âââŕŽŕšâĄŕšŕŽââââ§ŕźşâĽŕźťââââŕŽŕšâĄŕšŕŽâââ
I genuinely donât know how this turned into a toolbox post LMAO. I had another post in queue today, but I saw this reblog and had to respond. If you guys have any additional tips, comment below! Itâs always a join to help the community out, since I know how much we all deal with this.
Obviously, since I made the og post, I deal with it too. But these tips are what help me trust myself and my writing, and affirm to myself that no matter how undeserving I feel of praise, my book is good enough. And most importantly, I enjoy it.
Iâll link the rest of my TCW toolbox posts down below, which has a section of affirmations for writers. Anywayâ go buckwild! Go crazy! Cheerios!
Happy Writing! :)

Din Djarin picking up the Child (Grogu) by the collar of his coverall to move him back to his pram in the Razor Crest bridge. Image from The Mandalorian, Season 1, Episode 3, The Sin.
Grogu looked at the table and grumbled. His dad had put stuff all over it. Parts. Bits and pieces of equipment. Lubricants, oils, putty, and small cans of stinky liquids that Grogu had found out the very hard way werenât tasty. It looked like the Mandalorian had disassembled several blasters, a couple of mechs, and some major component of the N-1. How the heck was he supposed to work on his sketches if his sketching space was all taken up with this junk?
He looked around the room, but his dad was no where to seen. He closed his eyes and listened with his ears and realized that Din Djarin had taken one of the speeder bikes into Nevarro City without him. Okay, the Force had helped out a bit with that information, but what the heck! Grogu couldnât think of the last time he wasnât dragged along to visit the various market stalls and shops that contained all manner of mechanical and electrical parts.Â
Grogu could have enjoyed those visits but heâd been told time after time that he wasnât allowed to touch anything, taste anything, sniff anything or even look at anything because the last time heâd actually touched an item that heâd found behind a bin of comp parts, it began to hum, started flashing, and emitted a sound sort of like a Krayt dragon screaming.Â
He told his dad later that he had no idea that would happen and since he was the person closest to the alarm heâd been more surprised than anyone that it went off that way. That had not impressed the Mandalorian in the slightest and touching anything in those shops was now forbidden. Apparently he was now forbidden from going to those shops as well. Hrumph.
Then it occurred to Grogu that if his dad was away looking for more stuff, he could just rearrange the stuff that littered the table and carve out a little bit of room for himself. He didnât need a lot of space. Just a spot for his papers. Another spot for his markers. A place to display the image he was working from⌠room for his elbows⌠roughly half the table top would work just fine for him.Â
Now that was a problem. Not a philosophical problem. Not even a logistics problem. More like a three dimensional puzzle problem. The items that his dad had covered the table top with were all different sizes, various shapes, made from a whole host of different materials with different weights and densities. Grogu couldnât just push it all together in a big ball and hope that it would respect his boundaries. Heâd have to arrange the items in such a way that they wouldnât damage each other, wouldnât tip over, wouldnât react with his stuff, and importantly, wouldnât suggest to his dad that anything had been touched at all.Â
Thatâs when Grogu had a brilliant idea. When you are forced to consider all the constraints that supporting the needs of other people entail, particularly when that other people was actually your proudly Mandalorian dad, you came up with solutions that were unique. Special. Resilient. Achievable. And only involved a few other actions on your part. Grogu was going to build another table top, place his dadâs stuff on it, move it to a location that was conducive to the work that was being planned, and then happily proceed with his own activities. Easy peasy.Â
First, Grogu needed a flat surface that could act like a table top. They didnât just have table tops laying around the cabin and there really werenât any good trees to make one from. Heâd find himself weaving grasses into some sort of rug and have to work out a way of keeping that surface taught and he didnât think that he could do that just by taking the âfenceâ pieces in front of cabin and attaching the rug to each of them and stretching it out. That would have to wait for another project. Grogu was in hurry right now.
He turned to go back into the cabin and saw the solution right before his eyes. It was simple. Elegant even. And would require no tools and only a little bit of effort. Yippee!
After that solution presented itself, well the work practically did itself. In no time at all heâd moved the parts, goops, gunks, connectors, âwhat have youâsâ from the table in the cabin to the alternate surface and then used the Force to place the alternate surface in a safe spot. He was very proud of himself because he hadnât dropped, spilled, touched, or even really moved the stuff any great distance. It was all in the same orientation and position on the new surface as it had been on the old one. Heâd just used the Force to lift it all at once, slid the other surface under it, let it settle and then moved that surface. Easy peasy.Â
He got all his sketching supplies out, placed them where he wanted them, and then got to work. By the time he stopped to stretch and considered taking a break, he had a dozen different drawings and sketches spread out on the table. Grogu smiled at himself. It had been a better start to the day than heâd first imagined it would be. Given that, Grogu decided that he wanted to eat something and collected his drawings and markers and other materials and returned them to his room and then went back to the main room to check out the preserver.Â
Which was why he didnât hear his dad come back to the cabin or even enter it. But he sure did hear his dadâs voice when he felt himself being picked up by the collar of his coverall. The Mandalorian was not happy to say the least.
âGrogu, where is the front door to the cabin and where are the parts to the N-1âs guidance system? They were right here when I left the cabin first thing this morning.â
Given that he was kind of dangling in his coverall and couldnât really use sign language an answer his dad with anything like detail, Grogu simply pointed up. The door and the parts were safe and sound on the top of the cabin and he figured that his dad could work there without making the cabin itself all stinky with solvents and oils and other junk he used for his âUpgrade the N-1 programâ. Grogu only wanted him to upgrade the N-1 by trading it in for a new to them Razor Crest. It would save a lot of time and Din Djarin would have a proper work bench again. Easy Peasy.

Here are some tips for making a character that is usable in a long-term narrative and/or roleplay, from someone who's been writing and roleplaying for over a decade
You shouldn't know everything about your character immediately. Those 50-question bios you see floating around? Disregard them for now. You don't need to know their favorite type of pie, or small details about their backstory. Free yourself from the assumption they need to be a fully articulated being before you write a single sentence of lore.
You'll need MOTIVE (what drives them?), FEAR (what are they scared of happening?), and ATTITUDE (are they calm? easily angered? hyper?); with these three things, you can easily create the illusion of depth.
Real depth comes later. Much later. 5000+ words of narrative storytelling later.
To break these three core elements down a bit:
Motive: Your character needs some kind of ambition or desire to guide them. Do they want to lead the clan someday? Do they want their cozy little farmstead to not get flattened by Luminax? Do they want to be a good father to their hatchlings? Do they want to escape their dark past?
Don't be afraid to pick a small motive at first, because motives will change and adapt to the circumstances of your plot. Luke Skywalker didn't start off his journey knowing he'd face Emperor Palpatine, and your character doesn't need to have the faintest idea of the places they'll go or the choices they'll be forced to make.
Fear: This is what you get when they can't achieve their motive, or essentially, the motive for the motive. Are they scared of not having control? Do large changes scare them? Are they worried about becoming their father? Are they terrified their dark past will catch up to them?
Thinking of fears is sometimes difficult, and sometimes too easy. I recommend starting off with one foundational BASE FEAR, aka the fear from which all other fears flow. A good tip is to ask "why is my character afraid of this?" and keep going until you hit a major part of their backstory. Ex:
I am scared of spiders (Why?) Because they have too many legs (Why is that scary?) Because it's gross (Why do gross things scare you?) Because it makes me feel unclean (Why does that scare you?) Because being dirty reminds me of the day my father died (Bingo!)
By digging back and finding that base fear, you've successfully a key component of your character and given yourself a useful tool to begin explaining your character's trauma. That's not to say that fears always tie back into extreme trauma, but it should be important to your character.
Attitude: This is how they react to social situations, or essentially, how their motive and fear translate into their personality. A character who wants to be in a leadership role and dislikes not being in control may have a big issue with authority, and authority-adjacent characters. If they're a farmer who wants to be left alone, they might be exasperated with all the hub-bub. A character who really wants to be a good father might have a fatherly aura even around other adults. A character on the run from something might be battle-hardened, or they might be neurotic and anxious! Potentially even both!
However, you need to remember, Attitude is not personality. Attitude is how a characters' motive, fear, and personality intersect with their ability to socialize. It informs their level of patience (and if that changes depending on the person!), their ability to joke and be silly, and what kinds of things will get on their nerves. Ex:
I am very short-tempered and impulsive. I am afraid of authority because my teacher used to hit me for using my left hand. I want nothing more than to be left alone. I'm not going to listen to anyone and I'm going to do the first thing that comes to mind, even if it's detrimental to myself or others. I will push people away and I will avoid emotional vulnerability.
Those five sentences already tells me how this character will interact with every other character. I can now slot that character into any scene I want to, and begin envisioning a larger character arc and character development.
Remember, not every character will get along, and no character is capable of charming every person on the planet. The most perfect, gentle, patient, leaderly, kind, hilarious character probably has one character with self-esteem issues who HATES their guts.
Quick checklist:
Name
Pronouns
1-3 distinct appearance traits (height, notable piece of clothing, and the color of hair/scales/fur/etc are the big 3)
2-4 personality traits (plenty of lists online, just grab a few one-word descriptors)
1 Motive
2-4 bullet points of backstory (Do not write a long backstory, and only do this AFTER you've done Motive; you are not writing a character for their backstory, you're writing them for their place in the present story)
1 (base) Fear
Attitude
Once you have all those things, you are fully capable of writing an interesting character within a long-term narrative or roleplay setting. Yes, that's it.
One thing to remember about narratives (and roleplays) is that the most interesting part should be DURING the narrative. Setting up a character who can have interesting reactions, has a solid basis for a variety of dynamics with other characters, and has some set desire has the highest likelihood of facilitating an interesting narrative.
The fun thing? Now that you've got all this set up, you can set your character loose on whatever world you've got, and expect that they'll get into trouble on their own without the narrative needing to drag them into it.
#cftd rambles#writing tips#flight rising#yeah sure I'll maintag fr#this is more generalized but also super aimed at FR roleplay lol#luminax mention

platonic headcanons or scenario for yandere Anakin Skywalker? if you write for him of course. i really enjoy your works! especially Bonds (for personal reasons â˘wâ˘)
Eeee! My first Star Wars ask! You have no idea how excited I am for this, omg. Also Bonds is one of my personal faves to write as well!
Warnings: manipulation,over-protectiveness,themes of obsession, some implied stalking. Reader is barely trained force sensitive and Anakin has taken a self-proclaimed mentor/older brother role despite them not being a Jedi. Lots of Force stuff, because I love inserting my headcanons.
âOkay, now, I want you to try it with this.â
A comm link is passed to you, and you can see the wear and tear the device had been put through. Chips in the metal, the thin veneer of paint flaking off, a scorch mark on the side.
You take it, your fingers curling around the smooth metal. Anakin is leaning forward, practically hunched over your shared project, and you divert your focus from the Jedi Knight to the comm link in your hands.
âWhy do I have to do this again?â You complain tiredly, turning it over in your hands. The metal catches on the calluses of your skin, and you hear Anakin huff.
âBecause itâs important. Now try, come on.â
He nudged you with a shoulder, and you nod, breathing in.
It takes so much effort to expand the sense youâve always had past your own body. Anakin called it the Force, but you just knew it as something you had always had and always known. If it wasnât for Anakin, and the new tricks and tips he was teaching you, you might have never known that your sense of knowing was anything other than another sense.
The comm wasnât alive. It didnât react to the Force the way living things did. Didnât buzz with itâs own energy. But something in your chest nudges at the internal components, and you suck in a breath.
âItâs.. itâs a wire? Maybe? It feels.. burnt?â
He beams.
Thatâs best way to describe it. With your senses extended like this, you donât just see him, but you feel the way he lights up. His sun bright aura (he called it a Force Presence) popped and sizzled, pride flickering across it with a sense of glee.
Your head spins, the surge of foreign emotions making your mind struggle to keep up, and just as quickly as it happened, it draws back, and Anakin looks alarmed.
âWoah, easy! Are you alright?â He leans forward, a hand on your shoulder and you realize you were panting. His eyebrows furrow, and he lifts the other hand, pressing it to your forehead. Itâs warm, but you feel how your brow was beaded with sweat. âYou must have over-exerted yourself, come on, letâs take a break.â
âYouâre normally really against breaks?â You joke, but your voice cracks and makes your head pound.
âNormally, you donât have Force Exhaustion.â He snorts, easing the comm link out of your grip.
âThatâs what that is?â
âMhm. I didnât mean to push you so far.â
The statement burns in your chest.
You knew, obviously, that Anakin was used to helping his Padawan, Ahsoka. She had years of experience on you, more skill and ability, and it showed. Simple tasks that she could do with her eyes closed took you hours to even begin to understand, much less the weeks of practice you had endured in order to even turn it into a useful skill.
There's a gentle nudge against your mind, the only real way to describe it, and when you look to your left, Anakin is giving you that stern frown, the one that you knew meant he was more than aware of your thoughts on the matter.
"Stop being so hard on yourself."
"How did you even..?"
"You're pretty predictable, young one." He sends you a sort of half grin, before adding. "Also, your shields are really weak right now, so you're projecting your emotions all over the place."
You groan, and he snorts, helping you stand. Of course your mental shields were down.
"This Jedi stuff is so ridiculous, oh my god."
"Wait until I teach you how to use a Force Push. You're gonna feel like you've pulled muscles you didn't even know you had." The crooked grin he sends you makes you huff, and he helps you sit in the soft chair. You wonder how he ever managed to make so much time for you, how he managed to come visit so often when you knew the war and his duties as a Jedi came first and kept him away so often.
"Not that I don't appreciate it, but... why are you doing all of this? You don't exactly have to help me."
He goes silent. The crooked grin is gone, replaced by a look you can't quite decipher. It's sharp, intense. Blue eyes bore into like he's trying to pick apart exactly why you asked him, like he's trying to understand. His brows slant down, in that stern, angry way they did was he was thinking hard but not actually angry, and you swallow.
"You remember how we first met?" He asks, and you nod.
"The pirates, yeah."
"You remember what you did?"
Not really. Well, you did, but you no idea how you had been able to convince the pirate to leave you alone. You had been pinned down and panicked, and even though Anakin had told you, several times, that you had used the Force to convince the man to release you, you had never been able to replicate it, despite trying.
"Yeah. I remember."
"Good. That was.. dangerous. An untrained Force Sensitive, using a Suggestion? You're lucky you didn't get hurt, or pass out, from pushing yourself too far." For a single, alarming second, there's a spark of rage behind his eyes, at his next words. "Or that the wrong person hadn't realized and made you a target."
You swallow.
You were aware, what happened to Force Sensitives that weren't Jedi. Some went insane, some lived normal lives, some were targeted by Hutts and pirates, some were found and killed.
Some became Sith.
"Oh."
"Yeah. I figured, well, I have the skills, may as well teach them to someone who could use them. Especially given how you lived on the streets for a while." He shrugs, the intensity gone, and gives you a half smile. "Now come on, you need to get some food and water in you, and you can take a nap."
A nap sounded... really good, actually. It would help the pulsing migraine in the back of your head, and you could catch up on some sleep you so desperately needed.
So you let Anakin press a plate into your hands, and let him slide a glass of water in front of you, and when he closes the door to your room behind you and dims the lights, you curl into your blanket, closing your eyes.
Sleep comes easy, and you rest, content.

I know ur not an advice blog (I donât think???) but what can I do to gain more agency over my life like lulu and gain more knowledge like he did? or better myself etc.? I know he volunteered and just got involved all the time. any tips for me??
Hello!
These are just general suggestions. These are kind of ideas that Iâve researched to see what are the best ways possible in gaining agency, but Iâve also can personally attest to doing several of these actions in my own life. You could truthfully apply any one of these to literally anything/anywhere in particular that you want to gain more agency in your life (depending on which exact component you want to be more control in, whether it be school, work, your personal life, or even your social media), take it as what you need the most:
Control stimuli â It all starts with what you let into your mind, so what comes in from your environment and everything thatâs surrounding you. Pay attention to what youâre paying attention to, and consider if itâs even worth your time and attention. What matters the absolute most to you, and how can make sure that itâs a part of you and youâll be able to capture it everyday?
Associate selectively â Set your boundaries and know your limits with people, places, or things that seem troubling, negative, or just make things difficult for you. Be conscious of what can or could negatively affect you, even if you try your hardest to consciously not let it get to you.
Move â Simple. Physically moving your body, in any way possible (in ways that you are physically able to, depending on your circumstances) gives you motivation and strength in itself. Even taking a short break during your day by walking around or getting up to stretch are all good for you, your mind, and your balance. It puts you in charge of self-controlâand thatâs where it all starts.
Consider yourself as a learner â Learning is a never-ending experience, only if you learn to acknowledge and are willing and open to accept that you are capable always learning new things, and education doesnât stop once you leave institutional academia. Practice knowing that learning is growth. And growth isnât always linear. Youâre a work in progress, and you can learn and can also changeâand itâs okay to make mistakes, as it helps you learn those new things that you did not know about before.
Watch how you react and think about things â Take note about how you may think about certain things or consider them in your mind; sometimes, we unconsciously believe something without having the self-awareness that oftentimes, we were conditioned to think about in that way only and nothing else. Unlearn as you learn. Become aware of how your emotions and beliefs impact how you think and act
Trust your intuition â Itâs your gut, not anybody elseâs. Youâre the only one that can sense your own. Itâs deep knowledge inside of you that only youâve managed to gather for yourself, and use it. Itâs there for a reason.

I really, really hope one day we get a bombardier beetle monster. - BOMBORO Title - Explosion beetle Monster class - Neopteran Known locales - Nigh any environment Element/ailment - Blast + Hellfire Elemental weakness - Water (3), Ice (2), Thunder (1), Dragon (1), Fire (1) Ailment weakness - Poison (3), Paralysis (2), Sleep (2), Stun (0), Blast (0) Bomboro is a neopteran found roaming across many different environments. It is distinguished by the heavily armoured spiky carapace and its purplish-golden sheen. As its appearance indicates, Bomboro is incredibly durable, with its second and third pair of limbs boasting reinforced scutes to withstand impact and explosive force, whilst the first pair can act as cudgels as well as handling. Notably, the abdomen can extend a mace-like tip that exudes reactive chemicals. Though imposing, Bomboro is a fungivore, dedicated to travelling far and wide to sample all types of fungi. It can extend its head from the armoured covering to dig for mycelium or reach sheltered mushrooms, often using its heavyset limbs to dig out food where it can. Supremely confident in its defences, Bomboro is notably very docile, perfectly tolerant of humans and other monsters alike in its proximity. It takes a lot to aggravate the neopteran, so field workers can operate safely in its presence. In fact, Bomboro can be a beneficial presence since the possibility of angering it usually deters most predators. Bomboro's strength lies not only in its defensive integrity but also its ability to produce explosive chemicals from its abdomen. A combination of biological components produced by symbiotic bacteria mixed in the neopteran's abdomen results in its abdomen's tip launching blasts of volatile residue. This makes for excellent projectiles, often launching it in large globs or concentrating the reaction into a stream. If particularly enraged, Bomboro adds new components to its mixtures alongside gaseous byproducts of its diet. This new reaction discharges burning purple flames that near perfectly emulate the Hellfire used by the fanged wyvern Magnamalo. Much like Magnamalo, Bomboro can also use its explosive bursts to propel itself, either avoiding attack or using its armoured body as a battering ram. While Bomboro can fly, it is too heavy for its wings to sustain flight for long, and so often it travels by explosive propulsion. It never stops roaming, always searching for new pastures of fungi to feed on. Males and females have no notion of reproductive cycles; they will simply mate as soon as they cross paths and then go their separate ways. The mother lays her eggs close to a large supply of fungi and then leaves them to their fate. The young shelter in the undergrowth until they are large and bulky enough to survive in the open wild. Interestingly, Bomboro can at times be altruistic to other species. It has been known to attack predators that it witnesses attempting to prey on other monsters, and otherwise reacts violently to acts of aggression. Researchers do not yet know why Bomboro seems so protective of weaker creatures, though perhaps it is a luxury afforded by its impressive defences. Bomboro can prove challenging on account of its ailments and armour (Low Rank - 3, High/Master Rank - 3), but overall proves too predictable to be a genuinely threatening monster. Pitfall traps work well against its bulk, and water weapons can reduce the effectiveness of its explosive residue. While supremely armoured, Bomboro is not invincible; hunters could aim for the comparitively fragile underside and abdomen. Between its armour and explosive bursts, Bomboro is too troublesome for most predators to deal with. It rarely competes and is usually content to feed alongside other fungivores. However, even Bomboro must fear spectacular predators such as Deviljho or Bazelgeuse. In addition, its nemesis is the bird wyvern Valefirir Zevir, who possesses numerous tools to overcome Bomboro. At any hint of Valefirir Zevir's presence, any Bomboro in the area immediately flee. - Thank you for reading and take care.

Young Gale, as so many elder sages often called the human prodigy. Another word that typically followed the phrase was 'trouble' and this case was most certainly no different. Although this time he was certain to success â he had practiced the art of casting portals countless of times now, and most were successful, albeit a bit small and of no real distance.
It was time for him to test his merit on a more captivating challenge, just to prove a few of his fellow wizards that he was indeed the powerful wizard that he claimed to be.
He was going to cast a portal using the very Blackstaff that he 'borrowed' to connect the room to his dorm and step through victoriously. It was all perfectly envisioned in his mind, the right incantation, perfect pronunciation of the verbal component and the right dash of somatic component and the portal would be ready.
And just as his hours of practice, long nights of envisioning this moment, a portal yawns open on the wall with flickers of purple weave around it. Though Gale was intelligent enough to know not to dive headfirst into a portal when he was not yet adept at casting one, even with the almighty Blackstaff, and instead looked around the room trying to find something invaluable to test it with. Though the room was adorned with precious trinkets, Gale swiftly settled on using his boot and poking it through.
He press the tip of his boot through until it was half embedded into the swirling magic and then withdrew it to see it was still intact. The last test was a full submerge and he simple tossed the object through, watching how the portal reacted.
All positive.
The last step, was himself, and so he sucked in a deep breath, then exhaled slowly as stepped through, feeling the warm swirls of magic caress his skin before the coolness of the dorm beyond.
One catch, however, this wasn't his dorm, and he didn't arrive from through a portal in the wall as expected, nor the floor â but the ceiling. And so, Gale fell to the ground in a yelp that was silenced with a pained groan as the floorboards collided with his face all too quickly.
When he looked up, he realised he wasn't along and a young woman stood before him.

so Rung is basically Primus but amnesiac right
What if he comes across one of Cybertron's reproductive systems, and not knowing why, felt an instinctual draw to "reunite" his body with it?
Imagine him just clambering onto one of the many cock-shaped stalagmites in the substructures of the planet, trying to rut against it. Only to lose his footing and fall valve-first onto the bulbous tip, spearing himself to the limit and making himself cum almost instantly.
Then the cave system, which are basically Primus' internal proto-components, and are still instinctively attuned to his being, detects his pleasure, and seeks to encourage it by pulsing and rocking against Rung's tight little pussy. Ttapping him in a continuous series of overloads as the planet just keeps reacting to his responses, as if desperately trying to breed himself. That reedy old man is gonna be stuck down there for a long time cumming his brains out without ever realising that he could've stopped the whole thing himself (or maybe he didn't want to, deep down. Primus has always been a massive whore after all)-đ
hgrhh... Rung reuniting with his body... the planet is so happy to have the missing part of it close once again, that it can feel good again, that it can start to breed again...

Mini React.js Tips #3 | Resources â¨
Continuing the #mini react tips series, its components making time~!
In React, a component is like a Lego brick for building websites or apps. It's a small, independent part of the user interface (UI) that you can reuse whenever you need it. These components can be combined to create bigger and more complex applications. Examples are the header, footer, cards, asides, etc!
What you'll need:
know how to create a React project >> click
know the default React project's file structure >> click
know basic HTML
know basic JavaScript
basic knowledge of using the Terminal
What We Are Creating:
The footer at the bottom!
[ 1 ] Navigate to the 'src' Folder: Open your project in Visual Studio Code, locate the 'src' folder, and right-click on it.
[ 2 ] Create a New File: Click 'New File' to create the file within the 'src' folder. This file will house the code for your React component.
[ 3 ] Naming Conventions: Give your component a name, according to the convention of starting with a capital letter. This naming convention is essential for React to recognize your component~!!
[ 4 ] Create The Initial Function: Open the file and type:
export default function [name of component]() {}
[ 5 ] Insert The return() Statement: The statement is used within a component to specify what content should be rendered when the component is invoked or used. Type:
return()
*the error is there because we haven't added anything inside yet, don't worry!
[ 6 ] Insert The Empty Tags: Inside of the return(), add empty tags (tags that don't have a specified element inside of them).
[ 7 ] Time For Some HTML: Inside the empty tags, enter the normal HTML elements that you want~!
[ 8 ] Integration with App.jsx: Navigate to the 'App.jsx' file in the project, which is typically the entry point of your React application. At the top, import your newly created component. Type:
import [name of component] from './[location of the component]'
[ 9 ] Use Your Component: Inside the return() statement of the 'App()' function, include your component using the following syntax:
<[name of your component] />
[ 10 ] Run the Development Server: Start your development server with the command (the 'Local' link):
npm run dev
[ 11 ] Preview Your Project: Open the link provided in your terminal in your web browser. Witness your component in action!
Congratulations! You made your first component! Try and create some new ones and place them around in the App()~!

do you realize how awesome that would be between a cybertronian and an atlanian having a few similarities ?
also I had a lot of thoughts that had me sort of stuck.
Like the beginning part of how the atlanians were trying so very hard to out run an explosion. Perhaps a little tie to Quintess? something must of had their attention that they thus gave knowledge to them but later something that caused their downfall, just like Quintess and his creations. perhaps that was price?
would the Cybertronians know at some point, be it accident or intentionally, they seek them out? Even if they had no tie to the primes, it would still be one within of Primal. though the same could be said in reverse. either way, who knows what they may have inhereted by the line. Scratch that, the Guardian would more than likely prevent them from going further but say they do get past the Guardian and they do come across an Atlanian and thus their broken home beneath the surface.
I had forgetton that the stone(?) defense does react to danger and does choose someone of royalty. I did forget about the part where Kida was chosen and thus looked... crystalized? like energon. but also could not be touched cuz you'd wind up being like them too.
I unfortunately do not remember the all parts, only bits and pieces of the movie so feel free to ignore this.
There had been some talk that other ancient civilizations had their own massive technological marvel wonders in that movie verse, so perhaps there's something in the legends and mythsâŚ
I can't help but to think of it in a universe where Earth-is-Unicron or Unicron-yielded-Gaea because 1) we all need to utilize that way more, 2) makes sense with all the chaotic fuckery on the planet, and 3) would make a lot of sense on how it managed to store/grow Energon without tipping off a nearest spacefaring civilization, seems to be a reverse Cybertron in its makeup (dirt, metal, and water), yet able to support Primusâ own creations if utilized correctly, and build on the connection between Earth and Cybertron.
We're cousins. We have to fuck around with it. Especially with the same idea that Cybertronians and humans are cousins to the Quintessons since those multi-faced, space squids are Quintusâ descendants.
So that would make so much sense why Atlantisâ mobile weaponry was modeled after sea creatures. The Atlantians are taking advantage of the squidsâ natural predators for extra psychological damage.
Imagine if the Leviathan ship came after the Quintesson invasion after a lot of tinkering between mechanical and organic components? The Atlantic answer to Quintessonsâ space whale transport.
King Kashekim's dying words gave us so many details of the Heart itself and how it's able to make choices. Look, if that doesn't feel like a divine instrument or a Primal Artifact, then I don't know what does!
As a timeline, we could put the Downfall after repelling the Quintessons. King Kashekim would have had access to greater tech compared to other ally civilizations at that point, who's to say he wasn't looking to expand Atlantisâ dominion, especially after a massive undertaking and decisive win?
As for being searched by Cybertronians, it would depend on the universe. It would totally revamp the G1 episode with Atlantis and TFP would have really fantastic world-building on sentient Artifacts, Optimus not being the last of the Primes, and delve into the impact of cultural/religious instruments and âwhoâ could claim them. Could the Autobots take the Heart and doom the inhabitants to ensure Decepticons don't raid it? What happens if the Heart refuses to cooperate? It may be a Primal Artifact/Titan, but who holds its loyalty? The descendants of its creator, especially with an unbroken lineage, or a pure Cybertronian Prime?
Could they even get past the Leviathan in the first place? This isn't a submarine where a standard mech could punch through its hull. A Leviathan is a proper war machine on a galactic standard and capable of transporting the Cybertronians themselves. Would it obey Optimus or not?
There are so many directions this could go. It's fascinating!

I do in fact want to send asks about Rabbit Restoration but also I worry about being a little TOO insane. This is tumblr though so uh... Does sproingles have a sense of smell? He clearly has hearing, vision, and most likely some form of tactile sensation, but can he smell things? Will he gain the ability to smell things once he's degooped and doesn't reek of rotting small business co-owner or will he need sensors of some sort? Does he already have sensors built into the electronics? Do the animatronics that are directly inhabited by previously live humans (ghosts if you will) in your stories in general need sensors to feel things? Or can they just feel sensations even if they don't have the sensors in the electronic components? If Mr hasn't been alive much less taken a shower for 30 years can smell things at any point, what about taste? It clearly hasn't occurred to him in Rabbit Restoration yet that he could try eating something and see what happens, but how would a guy deprived of joy for decades react to having some chocolate or something smeared on his general facial orafice (don't know if I can really call the endoskeleton having a mouth). Would he enjoy it or would he just be irritated that his fur was now coated in chocolate after only just having been rid of his previous body's blood? Not all British people love tea, but it's certainly a thing that is associated with them. Does he like tea? Does he have a favorite? I'm partial to black tea with some spearmint (as a home grown citizen of the USA of course), so if he saw like, some blend of "tea" such as an herbal tisane, would he have a fit about it not being "real" tea? Answer any of these you like, or if they're too odd, feel free not to. I'm off to go send asks to other sprangly enjoyers of Tumblr to spread my insanity.
Sensors or anything like that aren't really needed for Springtrap to feel anything--or for anyone else, either. But for how someone happens to feel the sensation can just kind of be different from person to person.
Springtrap has been very much able to feel everything decently--but not as much as before his time spent in the saferoom after the springlocks went off.
Like, let's say Y/N grabs his arm. He feels it... but it's kind of like if someone is just letting the tips of their fingers be barely placed there, and the motion of them moving around is such a slow and strange.
Or, also pretty commonly... it's like when a part of your body falls asleep. Y/N could grab his arm, but the feeling Springtrap gets is one that's strong, tingly. Feels a bit like static.
#Theratsarefreed#Asks#Not a quote#FNaF#When Y/N hugged him the entire suit was practically given that âMy foot is asleep...â feeling#And it's definitely a bit strange for him#But he doesn't care#Rabbit Restoration Project (R.R.P)#Save tag#Spring's Chatter
